Dr Omkaar Hari Maali is a distinguished individual who has made remarkable contributions to the field of import-export and entrepreneurship. With a Doctorate in Management Studies, completed in 2012, Dr. Maali possesses a strong educational foundation to support his professional endeavours.

Having initiated his career as an Import Export Consultant in 2009, Dr. Maali quickly established himself as a knowledgeable and experienced professional in the industry. His expertise is further enhanced by an MBA in HR, obtained in 2009, and an HND from IHMES, Isle of Man, United Kingdom, in 2006.

In 2020, Dr. Maali founded Udyami Maharashtra, a movement aimed at empowering and supporting Marathi entrepreneurs in the import-export sector. The movement has made significant strides over the past three years, training over ten thousand Marathi youth in comprehensive Marathi language skills and providing them with the necessary tools to excel in this field. Dr. Maali’s mission closely aligns with the values and vision of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, emphasizing the importance of “To Feed All.”

Udyami Maharashtra goes beyond training by actively assisting Marathi youth in setting up their import-export businesses free of charge, offering ongoing guidance and support. The movement’s success is evident as many Marathi entrepreneurs have started their businesses not only in Maharashtra but also in countries such as Dubai, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

Dr. Maali’s dedication extends to offering ongoing assistance and mentorship to budding entrepreneurs, addressing their challenges and helping them grow their ventures. The movement organizes the “Muhurtamedh” program, a platform where esteemed dignitaries provide valuable guidance and inspiration to Marathi youth.

In addition to import-export training, Entrepreneur Maharashtra has conducted free online vocational training for women, covering a wide range of skills including spice making, incense stick making, sanitizer production, and cake baking. Furthermore, they have provided professional training on import-export to approximately 67 factories in Maharashtra.

Entrepreneur Maharashtra has played a significant role in boosting the country’s economy, generating an impressive income of twelve and a half crores through exports. Driven by their commitment to progress, they have established the country’s first import-export co-operative society, creating job opportunities for 30 individuals involved in exporting goods and agricultural products, thereby benefiting farmers.

Dr. Omkaar Hari Maali personally visits every district to gain insights into the challenges faced by Entrepreneur Maharashtra’s members. The movement exports over 100 tonnes of goods every month, contributing approximately five to six crores to the country’s economy.

Furthermore, Entrepreneur Maharashtra organizes stuffing events biannually, providing hands-on experience to its members. Dr. Maali considers these events as acts of service and does not charge any fee for participation.
